Did you know that it was Thalapathy Vijay who first predicted about ‘Jailer’ box office success?

The debate of who is the next superstar of Tamil cinema has been going on from time to time on social media.  Thalapathy Vijay fans are celebrating their idol as the current superstar which irked Rajinikanth fans that led to a clash between them on social media.

Meanwhile Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and costarring Mohan Lal,Shivarajkumar and Tamannaah has collected Rs. 600 crores with half that amount in India alone making it an industry hit,   Rajini fans have now gotten back at Vijay fans bragging about the supremacy of the 72 year old Superstar.

However, Nelson has revealed that it was Vijay who first predicted that ‘Jailer’ will be a mega hit.  He recalled that when his ‘Beast’ starring Vijay received negative reviews he was very upset but Vijay got in touch with him on a regular basis asking him to ignore negativity and move forward.  Earlier when the chance to narrate story to Rajinikanth came it was Vijay who encouraged Nelson and gave him confidence.

Similarly Vijay had told VTV Ganesh that Nelson will bounce back in a big manner with Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ and predicted way back that the film will create box office records.  The information has floored both Vijay and Rajini fans.

Now all eyes are on Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, releasing on October 19th.  Industry pundits predict that the film will take a gigantic opening and will break the record created by ‘Jailer’ to become number one in Tamil cinema history.  We have to wait and see if that happens and how Rajini and Vijay fans react to that on social media.
