As we had reported earlier director Venkat Prabhu's 'Chennai 600028 II' will be hitting the screens on November 25, 2016.

Now the film has completed the Censor Certification formality. Venkat Prabhu who has also produced the sequel of his 2007 super hit under his Black Ticket Company banner has confirmed that the film has acquired a clean U Certificate from Censor Board officials who watched the film.

This is good news for VP the producer as the film has satisfied the basic requirement to be eligible for 30% Entertainment Tax Exemption provided by the Tamil Nadu State Government.

'Chennai 600028' was a youthful entertainer which also pleased the family audience. With the censor rating we could sense that the sequel will be a clean family entertainer presented in Venkat Prabhu's style.
