Jai and Anjali acted together in 'Engeyum Eppodhum' and ever since that rumors started spreading that they are a couple which the duo neither confirmed nor denied. A few months back another report said that they have parted ways. Now actor and producer Poster Nandakumar has alleged that Jai caused huge losses to him when he produced the film 'Baloon' which had Anjali as his pair.

Nandakumar who has acted in 'Madras' and 'Kabali' has stated in his recent interview that Anjali is a good hearted person and cooperated well but Jai spoiled her and disrupted the shooting many times. On one instance while shooting in Kodaikanal director, Sinish had called Anjali to a shot and did not address her as madam and while the actress did not mind that, Jai got angry and argued with the crew and challenged them that he will stop the shoot. True to his words Jai convinced Anjali to tell them that she has stomach pain and when they provided a car to take her to the hospital he instead took her to Chennai and the planned days of shoot got cancelled.

Nandakumar has further added that at a five-star hotel two rooms were booked for Anjali and Jai but they used only one and the other was kept locked. When the team requested them to cancel one room as it cost around twelve thousand rupees per day they refused to oblige. Nandakumar says that he will never ever produce a film after the bitter experience with Jai and he is shocked that the actor even spoiled the mind of a nice person like Anjali too.
