Actor Jai had a release recently with the supernatural thriller flick Neeya 2 directed by Suresh and co-starring Raai Laxmi, Catherine Tresa and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and the movie which revolves around a snake woman's revenge, has opened to average reviews.

Next the actor has been signed to play the lead role in the upcoming movie of popular director SA Chandrasekaran, who had last directed the movie Touring Talkies way back in 2015. After that he was seen as an actor in movies like Kodi, Arudra, Traffic Ramasamy etc to name a few.

In this movie which marks SA Chandrasekaran's return to direction, Jai will be seen romancing two heroines again. While earlier it was announced that Bigg Boss fame Aishwarya Dutta will play the female lead, it has been revealed now that Athulya Ravi will also be the female lead in this movie, which will also be produced by SA Chandrasekaran.
