Actor Jai was last seen on screen in the action packed entertainer Jarugandi directed by debutant Pichumani, and is currently awaiting the release of his next, the supernatural thriller Neeya 2 directed by Suresh of Vemal starrer Ethhan fame.

The snake thriller movie which draws its title and premise from the yesteryear hit starring Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan and Sripriya, had its trailer released before a month, and had received good response for the thrilling elements in it.

Now it has been made official that Neeya 2 has been censored a clean U, and it is expected that the movie might hit screens in the first week of April. Neeya 2 also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Catherine Tresa and Raai Laxmi in pivotal roles.
