A few weeks ago, IndiaGlitz had reported 'Sethupathi' producer Shan Sudharshan will be doing a film directed by newcomer Mahendran Rajamani with Jai in the lead role. Today the film which has been titled as 'Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal' has been launched with a formal pooja.

The film will have Pranitha Subash as the female lead opposite Jai. The supporting cast includes Karunakaran, Kaali Venkat, Naveen and 'Naan Kadavul' Rajendran.

The makers say that the film will be a new genre with comedy as its base. The film's director Mahendran Rajamani has worked as the associate of director C.S.Amudhan of 'Tamizh Padam' fame. He has also worked as the dialogue writer for Santhanam in many films.

Santhosh Dhayandhi, Mahesh Muthusami and V.Gopi Krishna will take care of the musical score. cinematography and Editing of this film. V.Sasikumar will work as the Art director.

The shooting has also commenced today.
