Arjun will soon start a sequel to his yesteryear blockbuster ‘Jai Hind’. If sources are to be believed, the actor-director will start the second part to the action adventure after completing his under-production ‘Maasi’, directed by Kicha.

“It’s going be action all the way and plans are on to rope in stunt men from Europe. A top actress will be signed as the heroine. The story will start where Jai Hind ended. There will be many twists and turns in the sequel quite like the first part,” say sources.

Throwing more light, they add: “Most members of the cast and crew of Jai Hind will be retained. At the same time, many fresh elements will be infused to the script. The making will be so rich on par with international standards.”

‘Jai Hind’, which hit screens in mid-90s, was written and directed by Arjun himself. A patriotic story, it was a blockbuster hit during that time with songs by Vidyasagar topping the charts. Ranjitha, Goundamani and Manorama played pivotal roles.
