‘Aval Peyar Thamizharasi’ has created a lot of hype already, but more than often for the wrong reasons. The film, directed by Meera Kadhiravan, is said to have a completely different storyline and Navya Nair was originally asked to play the heroine. Later, the movie generated by buzz by not revealing the name of the heroine at all, giving the film more interest value.

The film, featuring Jai in the lead, was later said to be disrupted by Jai, owing to poor punctuality, though the crew has denied it. All these things are now things of the past with Jai having completed shoot for the film.

‘Aval Peyar Thamizharasi’ is being produced by Moser Baer and is slated to be a July release. The film is said to be the search of a youngster of his childhood love. A realistic film, it is said to have the right dose of sentiment and love, with good folk tunes for the first time by Vijay Antony.

The shooting for the film was completed last week in Pune, after being shot in Tirunelveli. Forty children are said to be playing small roles in the film.
