Actor Jai, who last had a release with Jarugandi, the action entertainer directed by debutant Pichumani, is currently working on his next movie titled as Breaking News. The movie is directed by debutant Andrew Pandian and is produced by Norway based producer Thirukadal Udhayam.

Breaking news will have Jai as a common man turned superhero, and he will be paired with actress Bhanusree who had been one of the contestants in Telugu Bigg Boss game show, and she will be seen in two looks as the lover and later the wife of the actor.

The latest update on Breaking news is that the movie has two villains - Rahul Dev and Dev Gill playing brothers, with the former being a brainy one and the latter as the one who flexes muscles against enemies. Rahul Dev has played Ajith's villain in Vedhalam, while Dev Gill is known for his villainy in Vijay's Suraa.
