Manikandan starrer 'Good Night' became one of the most highly profitable films of the year in Tamil cinema. The feel-good comedy-drama produced by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment successfully crossed 50 days in theatres. Now, the 'Good Night' team is reuniting for a new movie.

Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment are jointly bankrolling the next film of Manikandan (Jai Bhim fame) with music by Sean Roldan, who composed for 'Good Night' as well. The yet-to-be-titled project will be written and directed by the newcomer Prabhuram Vyas. The new movie also stars Sri Gouri Priya of 'Modern Love Chennai' fame and Kanna Ravi of 'Kaithi' fame.

The upcoming project commenced with a pooja ceremony today. Vijay Sethupathi inaugurated the film's shoot by clapping the board. The photos from the pooja event are doing rounds on the internet. The technical team comprises Shreyas Krishna as the cinematographer, Barath Vikraman as the editor and Raj Kamal as the art director.
