Joining the list of film personalities, who opt for a name change to revive their fortunes in the film industry, is Jai Akash.

The young-actor, who played the hero in a host of films in vain, is still searching for big-time success.

Though he managed to leave his presence in Tollywood, his priority had always been to mark a place for himself in Tamil.

In a bid to establish himself, the actor has commenced Madhan. Besides playing the lead role, he is also directing the same. He has now changed his name to J Akash hoping for some luck.

Says J Akash, 'After Ramakrishna, I found myself in several financial constraints. I am slowly coming out of it now. And Madhan would do the trick'.

Madhan stars Sridevika, who acted opposite him in Ramakrishna, playing the heroine. Shooting for the movie is on.
