Jagmohan Mundhra passed away

Film director Jagmohan Mundhra passed away on Sunday morning in a Mumbai hospital, where he was admitted a couple of days back due to internal bleeding. The veteran filmmaker died of a cardiac arrest. "He was kept on ventilation but there wasn’t any progress in his health," says sources in the know.

Mundhra was best known for his women oriented films such as 'Bawandar' starring Nandita Das and 'Provoked' that featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. His latest offering was 'Naughty @ 40' that starred Govinda in the lead role. He also has to his credit many horror thrillers in Hollywood.

Jagmohan Mundhra was about to kick-start a biopic on Sonia Gandhi which was supposed to go on floors with an ensemble of star cast.

His demise has come as a shock to those in the film industry. IG offers condolence to his family and kin.
