Jaggu Bhai proposes, Jagan plays ball

With a director like Puri Jagannadh in tandem, any actor would want to play a role of a life time. It's Jagapathi Babu's turn to have that wish fulfilled. The news is that Jagapathi is going to portray a distinct character in Puri's next with Kalyan Ram. In this NTR Arts' produced movie, Jagapathi has a 'hatke' role written by the ace director.

On the face of it, this seems to be a post facto character.

Just what prodded Puri to rope in the much-happening 'baddie' Babu? It's learnt that Jaggu Bhai had expressed his interest in playing a character like Posani Krishna Murali's from Temper. To this, Puri told him that had he knew that he would do such a role, he would have cast Jaggu Bhai in Posani's role. The role in Kalyan Ram's film was written later to accommodate the veteran actor's aspirations.
