It's known that the stylish baddie Jagapathi Babu is sharing the screen space with Kollywood superstar 'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay. The news is that the film went on the floors today in Hyderabad. Jaggu Bhai here locks horns with Vijay. "Jagapathi Babu has expressed great excitement after facing the camera with Vijay," a source says.
Besides being an exciting opportunity for Jaggu Bhai to showcase his immense talent to Tamil audience, it has a sentimental value for him. Vijay`s father SA Chandrasekhar and Jagapathi's father veteran producer-director VB Rajendra Prasad had teamed up to make delightful films in the South.
"It is such a moving moment for me, as history is being repeated in this era in this way. I am so excited to be part of this project and acting with Vijay is such a delight. He is so humble. He is a dedicated and very intense actor, and I am hopeful my chemistry with him on screen will be loved by all,” Jagapathi has been quoted as saying.
The movie is directed by Bharathan and produced by Venkatram Reddy, son of B Nagi Reddy of the famous Vijaya Vauhini Studios. Jagapathi's father Rajendra Reddy was a close friend of B Nagi Reddy.
“There is a long-lasting strong bond between me and Venkatram garu. This is a fantastic film and I am thrilled to be part of it and if dad is watching me he will be equally elated," Jagapathi says.
