Actor Jagapathi Babu has launched a platform from where wannabe actors, directors, writers can go about making their dreams real. It's Click Cine Cart, an organization for the purpose. Jagapathi Arts banner was relaunched as Jagapathi Cinema on the occasion. The website was launched today in Hyderabad by Dasari Narayana Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, Dasari said, "When Jagapathi told me about the concept, I really liked it. This website is useful for those who want to make films with new talent. For my film Swargam-Narakam, I auditioned 1000 people, out of whom 200 were finally selected. We had to conduct the auditions across several cities. Many wannabe actors/directors are being duped because of their gullibility. I think Jagapathi's organization will address these. If it were any other, I wouldn't have involved myself into this endeavour. But Jagapathi is a very honest and disciplined man. Our industry is importing many actors from other States. There is good enough talent amongst us. Jagapathi is planning to make two films with newcomers under his banner."
Murali Mohan said, "This is like a bridge for those who want to enter films. Many burn their fingers not knowing how to make a film. Jagapathi's efforts should be appreciated. He has proven himself as an actor, producer. His attempt should become successful."
Jagapathi said, "I have invited only those to this function who matter to me. I am glad Dasari garu accepted my invite. He has been involved in 24 crafts and the Producers' Council. This website will be evolving over the next 10 years. There is a dearth of proper producers in the industry. Click Cine Cart will be a guiding force for producers as well. Even though my father was a producer, I had to struggle a lot in the industry. There are many days when I wept. Since I know the problems of fledgling talent, I have ventured into this. I am looking foward to developing Click Cine Cart as a portal of international scale. I have faith in myself. I never cheat others. I never made a fortune by defrauding others. I want cinema and money, too."
