Jaganmohan Reddy has today said in the Assembly that Vizag might become the executive capital of Andhra Pradesh. "We feel that Vizag is apt. No additional investment on infrastructure would be required, barring some investment in a Metro rail project," the Chief Minister said.
He also added that Kurnool might be chosen as the judicial capital of the State. If that happens , a High Court and a few lesser courts will be built in the town. And Amaravati shall be the legislative capital.
"A committee has been studying the suitability of different towns for different capitals. South Africa has always had three capitals," he said.
Jagan didn't confirm anything. However, his words go to show that the committee report has already chosen the three places. The report will be out soon.
