Jagan launches India's 'first' ambulance network for animals

In what has been described as a first in the history of India, the YS Jaganmohan Reddy government has announced the launch of a sarkari ambulance network for animals. The novel initiative is aimed at promoting animal husbandry, which is a part and parcel of agriculture.
Proper animal healthcare is going to be the main goal of the new initiative. Distressed/diseased animals will be given the best treatment through a Mobile Ambulance Veterinary Clinic in each of the State's 175 assembly constituencies. The healthcare will be 24/7.
The official data says that as many as 175 mobile ambulances will be at service at each of the constituency-level clinics. There will be a toll-free helpline facility and door delivery of veterinary services is also assured.
The government is planning to deploy the use of the 'Hydraulic Lift' facility as well. Besides a vet, a para-veterinary worker will also be at work.
Following the Karnataka example?:
While the AP government has claimed that the Telugu State is the first in the country to launch ambulance services for animals, Karnataka had done a similar thing in September last. It launched a scheme by the name of Pashu Sanjeevani, an ambulance to offer treatment to livestock.
