Citing a media report, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that the Jaganmohan Reddy government is causing immense embarrassment to India. Following the cancellation of several solar and wind power projects in July by the new AP government, countries such as Japan, Abu Dhabi, the US, Singapore and Canada are said to be mooting "international arbitration" to settle scores. A report says that they have already warned the Indian government over the cancellation of renewable power projects by the AP government. They fear that other States might do the same, causing heavy losses.

"Now this is embarrassing! Never seen it happen before!! Courtesy YS Jagan, the MEA is now being threatened with global legal action. I ardently hope that common sense prevails over retribution which is hurting India and Andhra Pradesh to no end," the TDP supremo today said.

Investments to the tune of Rs 40,000 Cr have been endangered due to Jagan government's decision.
