Chandrababu Naidu has taken a swipe at Jaganmohan Reddy once again on Saturday. The TDP chief, taking to Twitter, plugged two news reports that said that the Chief Minister is working towards a new schedule for local body polls.
"Is this a joke? When the world is fighting to mitigate the worst effects of #Coronavirus, Jagan is holding parleys with officials over the fresh schedule for local body elections. He is not learning lessons and willing to risk the health of millions for political gains. Shocking!" the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister tweeted.
On Friday, Naidu alleged that AP's red zones are because of the CM's "incompetence". "84% of Andhra Pradesh’s districts have been designated as red zones by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Courtesy: YS Jaganmohan Reddy's incompetence, negligence and focus on politicking (read: elections, removal of SEC etc.) rather than public health. This is turning out to be a man-made disaster," the Kuppam MLA said.
AP got a new State Election Commissioner recently.
