Cinema halls, including multiplexes, haven't been running at full capacity in Andhra Pradesh since the recent third wave began. The news is that, in view of the receding third wave in the State, the YS Jaganmohan Reddy government today lifted the 50% norm.
A few days after removing the night curfew norm in the State, AP has done away with the half-capacity rule as well. From tomorrow, all single screens and multiplexes can allow the booking of 100% of tickets.
Tollywood is heading into a rosy territory on the film releases front, starting from Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak' on February 25. From medium-range movies like 'Aadavaallu Meeku Joharlu' and 'Ghani' to pan-India movies like 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram', 'Radhe Shyam' to superstar movies like 'Acharya', 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' and more, the rest of the 10 months this year will see a flurry of huge releases.
As for a new Government Order on the cinema ticket prices, it is expected to be revealed soon.
