‘Jagame Thandhiram’ to release directly on OTT, gets release date

Dhanush’s fans, who are soaking in the critical and commercial success of his ‘Karnan’, have been hungry to watch his gangster flick ‘Jagame Thandhiram’ since last year. 

Y Not Studios, the producers of the film, on Tuesday officially announced that it will start streaming on Netlix India from June 18.

‘Jagame Thanthiram’ is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and has Santhosh Narayanan’s music. Also starring Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, James Cosmo, Kalaiyarasan, Sanchana Natarajan and many others in important roles, the film is the biggest direct-to-streamer Kollywood film during the pandemic after last year’s Suriya-starrer ‘Soorarai Pottru’.
