'Jagadheka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari' completes 25 years

Those were the days when Chiranjeevi was a big star with back to back hits, K.Raghavendra, the most wanted director and Sridevi, the most loved and biggest female super star in the country. When these three teamed up, audiences expected a good success. But they didn't expect a big blockbuster like 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari'.

The extraordinary performances of Chiranjeevi, Sridevi, Amrish Puri and other actors, K.Raghavendra Rao's one of a kind direction, songs by Ilayaraja, Vincent's beautiful photography, Sundaram Master and Prabhu Deva's choreography, especially for the super hit 'Abbani Theeyani Debba' song and all worked out well and brought huge profits for producer Ashwini Dutt.

Audiences went gaga over watching this super natural fantasy film and the film broke many records. It is one of the most memorable hits in the careers of Chiranjeevi, Sridevi and K.Raghavendra Rao. JVAS was released on May 9th, 1990 and it completes 25 years today. It is a very special occasion for the team members.
