Ashwini Dutt after entering the film Industry at an young age by producing a film, Eduruleni Manishi with NTR, started developing Vyjayanthi Movies as a brand with risky subjects and big budget films. He collaborated more often with director, Raghavendra Rao.

He never wanted to announce ten films and act like a studio. He spends his time on one film and tries to see that it has all the commercial values to please the audiences. After Agni Parvatam, Brahma Rudrulu failed and Aakhari Poratam worked out very well for him.

Hence, he decided to take the stakes up and come up with a huge fantasy story which became history for the production house and for Telugu Film Industry too, that is, Jagadeeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. Movie became a success even though a cyclone struck Andhra Pradesh just before the film released on 9th May.

As the movie completed 30 years in 2020, he again announced that he will retire as a producer only after making a sequel to JVAS and he is constantly working on the story. He also said that his immediate next film will be Prabhas21 and the script is coming out well.
