Jacqueline Fernandez's Rs 7 Cr frozen by ED

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is back in the news in connection with a money laundering case. We know that an alleged cheat named Sukesh Chandrashekhar has already been arrested in connection with the case.

On Saturday, news reports emerged that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth Rs 7.27 crores belonging to the actress. The attached property is a fixed deposit, ANI quoted sources as saying.

The ED today has been quoted as saying that Chandrashekhar gave gifts worth Rs 5.71 Cr to the actor from the Rs 200 Cr he allegedly extorted from the family of Shivinder Singh, NDTV reported.

Recently, the actress condemned the reports that she is doing Akkineni Nagarjuna's 'The Ghost'. The actress is currently busy in Bollywood with a handful of projects. The biggest of them has to be Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's 'Ram Setu', whose First Look was recently released. Satyadev Kancharana has a crucial role in it. Her most recent Bollywood release is 'Bachchan Pandey' and 'Attack', both of which flopped. She is also doing Rohit Shetty's 'Cirkus'.
