Jacqueline Fernandez who has an exciting line up of films including 'Dishoom' with Varun Dhawan & John Abraham and 'A Flying Jatt' with Tiger Shroff, has been training for both films for the last eight months with Pilates expert Namrata Purohit , who at 21 is the youngest Stott Pilates instructor in the world and can now perform stunts upside down with ease.
Says Jacqueline, "I wanted to shrink, get toned and stay that way all through the year. John and Varun are both really fit and I want to keep up with them. They're both serious about fitness and keep competing over abs and biceps though we talk about food constantly".
What's unique about Jacqueline's workout is that she's been training in the Altitude Training Systems (ATS) room of Namrata's gym, which has a reduced level of oxygen that increases metabolism by 200 percent, strengthens the muscles, diminishes chances of injury and helps elasticity of skin.
On Namrata's advice Jacqueline, who is currently filming Dishoom in Morocco, has taken along her hoola hoop and skipping rope, in case she has to miss out on a cardio session. She's also on a new Middle-Eastern diet.
For Remo`s film with Tiger Shroff, Jacqueline is also learning upside down stunts and hand-and-leg coordination to be in sync with Tiger in their superhero film.
Says Namrata Purohit, Jackie`s trainer, "Since Tiger is so agile, Jacqueline wanted to work on her acrobatic movements so she doesn't appear bulky while performing her stunts.I'm confident that she'll pass this feat with flying colours and emerge a super heroine, like she always does".
