Just like every other venture, movie business also has its lows and highs. Especially if you are a producer, you got to be prepared for major financial setbacks at some point. Jackie Shroff also faced a financial crisis when his film 'Boom' tanked on the box office. Recently, the actor recalled days of bankruptcy and how he managed to repay all his debts.

Jackie said, "I knew that we tried something and we lost something. If I had to pay for it, I’d pay. I had worked as much as I could and we repaid everybody so that my family’s name gets clear. Business mein up down hota hi hai, yeh zaroori nahi hai ki hum hamesha upar hi rahenge. Kabhi upar kabhi niche hota hai but you need to know how to keep your sanity and ethics."

However, Jackie and his wife didn't let the crisis affect their kids. He says, “My kids didn’t understand anything. They were too small and we didn’t let it get to them."
