Superstar Rajinikanth’s forthcoming multilingual 'Kochadaiyaan' is getting better and bigger…. First it was Katrina Kaif and now it’s yet another Bollywood talent who has been brought on board…

According to latest update from Kochadaiyaan’s director Soundarya Ashwin (the younger daughter of Rajini), the ever-stylish Jackie Shroff has been signed on for an important character in the movie. Earlier, Jaggu Dada was seen in 2011 Tamil movie 'Aaranya Kaandam' which went on to earn critical acclaim.

AR Rahman along with noted lyricist Vairamuthu recently had a session where they finalized tunes and lyrics for this mega budget venture.

It is expected that the shooting for 'Kochadaiyaan' would start by the middle of this month. "Grand sets are being erected at a couple of places in Chennai to shoot this period film, which would have Rajini in a different avatar," sources say.
