Jackie Chan is one of the most loved action heroes ever in the history of cinema and he is celebrated as an all-round nice guy throughout the globe. It does take a lot of courage to open up in a new book that he did not live such a clean life as perceived and has been on the dark side in his past.

In his upcoming memoirs Never Grow Up Jackie Chan has revealed that during his days as a stuntman he used to spend all his money on prostitutes and was never nice to any woman. He has even admitted that he was suspicious that his wife of several decades Lin Feng-Jiao was after his money and married her only because she got pregnant. He has related an incident in which he even threw his son Jaycee Chan then a baby in a fight with his wife and he luckily escaped unhurt falling on a sofa.

There are also mentions of reckless drunken driving and the affair with singer Elaine Ng which resulted in a child Etta Ng who recently married her lesbian lover. Jackie said he apologized to his wife and son who forgave him. The legend has attributed his behaviour to the fact that stuntmen know that their life could end any time and that is why they think they should live every moment as they pleased.

Anyways when heroes and superstars do everything in their power to project themselves as God's incarnation on earth with the purest virtues, the giant superstar of them all has come clean of who he truly was and how he grew into what he is today.
