Ask Pritam if music of Imtiaz Ali directed JAB WE MET would meet the expectations that one has from a Shahid-Kareena starrer love story and he says, That's right, 'Jab We Met' is just the right setting for the kind of romance you want to see between Shahid and Kareena.

He adds, We were clear about the thought that the film had to contain music which is typically Bollywood though with a modern approach.

How about the flavor in rest of the album? The album has a melodious look and feel throughout. No point making something where you get creative satisfaction but audience feels left out, quips Pritam, For 'Jab We Met', we have come up with an extremely youthful score. The album should see a release this September with the film arriving in mid-October.
