'Jaanisaar': Behind the scenes

Jaanisaar' is a visual treat. In a recent video release by the makers of the film, Director Muzaffar Ali and Producer Meera Ali talk about casting the beautiful Pernia Qureshi as Noor and Pakistani heart throb Imran Abbas as Ameer. Pernia and Imran also reveal nuances of their character and the preparation to perfect their role.

Jaanisaar' is a period drama starring the gorgeous Pernia Qureshi and Pakistani heartthrob Imran Abbas Naqvi in lead roles. Set 20 years after the first war of Indian independence in 1857, the film essays the love story of a revolutionary courtesan of Avadh, and a prince brought up in England.

Jaanisaar' is directed by Muzaffar Ali of cult classic UmraoJaan fame and produced by Meera Ali.The film released on August 7, 2015.
