One of the senior most cameramen of Kannada cinema PKH Doss maiden directorial debut ‘Jaani’ is a full entertainment film with a heart touching element at the climax.
Starting career from ‘Chaitrada Premanjali’ Doss wielded camera for some of the big films in Kannada and has the unique name for his visual splendor on screen.
In Aishwarya Films ‘Jaani’ in the direction of Doss, A Purushottam, M Aravind and J Janakiram are producers of this film. The protagonist Jaani is a simple youth. He is a thief. He lives on this activity. Yet he is a good boy. He is an orphan. He has a pet dog as his companion. The faithful dog does all types of help to his master Jaani. There are four villains in this film. There is tremendous action and chase from Mass Madha and Action Prakash.
Kumar Chakravarthy long time assistant of Doss in cinematography is independent cameraman from this film. Jassie Gift music, JC Kumar editing, Chinni Prakash dance, Ravi Santehaiklu art are part of this film. For the music of Jassie Gift, Vijayaprakash, Udit Narayan, Shreya Goshal have lent their melodious voices. Jassie Gift 25th film in music has done recording of voice in AR Rehman studio, DI was done in Gemini studio.
Vijaya Raghavendra, Milana Nagaraj, Janani Maria Antony, Suman, Moogu Sundaram, Sumithra, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Pavan, Shobaraj, Prakash Heggodu, Daniel Kuttappa, Manadip Rai and others are in the cast.
