Well, in this new age of cinema, no film is complete without its sequel following behind.. After coming across so many sequels these days, latest buzz is that there will be second version of Kundan Shah’s 1983 cult comedy 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron', one of the favourite films of movie buffs which stars Naseeruddin Shah and Ravi Baswani.

Talks are that the film’s sequel was planned much earlier; unfortunately the plan came to a halt after Baswani passed away.

While speculations are rife that Naseeruddin will carry forward his role from the original, the director on the other hand is unsure of the sequel. In an interview Shah said that he is actually not in favour of remakes and sequels; yet he has written the script of new version of 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron' and it is said to be very political and a comedy.

Still, if all goes well, the sequel of 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron' will show the two photographers being released from jail after 35 years. The original had ended with Shah and Baswani’s characters sent to jail for the crime they didn’t commit.

But now, the question is who will play Ravi Baswani’s character.. Any suggestions?
