Former chief minister of Tamil Nadu the late Jayalalitha's niece J.Deepa started the MGR AMMA Deepa Peravai and is often known to make statements out of the blue about some issues usually unrelated to politics. She is more often in the news for personal reasons than political like her never ending controversies with husband Madhavan who is also running an independant party. That makes two parties in one house which no other regional or national outfit has achieved in 71 years of independance

Deepa is also known to have public fights with her car driver Raja who holds an executive post in the party. It is usual for her to sack Raja from the party and later admit him back for one reason or the other. Deepa has just announced that Raja has been ousted from her party for the umpeenth time. She has stated anti party activities as the reason and has asked her "party members" not to have any contact with him from now on. Anyone listening?
