Iykya, known as Iykki Berry is a popular rapper, singer, celebrity cosmetic surgeon and social activist. Born and brought up in Tanjore, Tamilnadu, Iykki turned an Internet sensation after her music videos turned viral on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube.

Celebrated as the first female rapper from Tamil Nadu, here's an excerpt of Iykki's exclusive interview to Indiaglitz. On being asked about her passion and profession, Iykki says she loves her profession of being cosmetic surgeon and loves to see the smiles on faces, which gives her the positive vibration. At the same rapping and song writing is also her profession and passion, and both are like her two eyes says Iykki.

Iykki's inspiration is the Legendary Michael Jackson, and later she got attracted to Katy Perry and her bubbliness, and after starting to write lyrics she started following Nicki Minaj. On her name, Iykki says it's derived out of Iykkiyam (unity), and wanted it to be unique. Iykki's first hit was the Enna paathathum song released in 2019, and then released her first English album Mesense 1991. Iykki says, once people start writing, it comes automatically, and further says she's planning and working on releasing new Tamil songs besides English songs. Iykki says her goal is to inspire girl children, and in the next ten years, any girl seeing her videos must get inspired and feel, if a small town girl Iykki can, why can't I achieve.
