Lakshmi Manchu has played a key role in "Chandamama Kathalu" and the film is set for a big release on April 25th.

Lakshmi Manchu said that she has played a model in "Chandamama Kathalu" and she has to drink, smoke and speak vulgar language for the film. She said that initially she was reluctant of smoking and drinking, but then the unit has convinced her to do them.

"I've drunk and smoked publicly and boldly for this film. I've done everything bad. Smoking is really a horrible experience and I don't know how people smoke ", Lakshmi Manchu said.

Chandamama Kathalu has Sr.Naresh, Aamani, Manchu Lakshmi, Chaitanya Krishna, Richa Panai etc in the lead roles.
