Ivan Veramathiri is a thriller in making with Vikram Prabhu the star of Kumki making his urban debut here. Joining him is Ganesh V and Vamsi Krishna and the film is directed by Saravanan of Engeyum Epothum fame. As again, C.Sathya to do the magic, let's see how the music has fared out.

1. Malaya Porattala

Singer(s) : Tipu, Hydy Karty, BizMac

Lyricist : Viveka

A kind of unique attempt by Sathya, goes a little haywire here and there. A possible introduction song, the context is clear and sound. For those who think Sathya is better off in folky portions, this number is an abode of drums and heavy metals with octane content. The vocals do not compete as good as the music and as quite an average number it is.

2. Enna Marandhaen

Singer(s) : Madhushree

Lyricist : Na.MuthuKumar

It's the pick of the album with the slender voice of Madhu just breezing through the solo vocals. Muthukumar's lyrics are consoling and give a satisfactory feel to the poetic sense. Female solo with a romantic tryst in Kollywood is a sensation from the 90's and this will fall in the category and the intentions might go well with the visuals.

3. Ranga Ranga

Singer(s) : Rita

Lyricist : Mani Amudhavan

A quirky composition, yet another energetic solo number from Sathya. Rita's vocal stands apart and beats the orchestration which seems to lag behind. The purpose seems to be give a sweet and girly feel with playfulness and it seems to have worked in the parts of vocals and lyrics departments. Otherwise an ordinary song!

4. Thanimayilae

Singer(s) : Anand Araviddakshan, nivas

Lyricist : Viveka

As the title of the song goes, its theme is set for a sad composition with a classical touch to it. The Keeravani raaga is heavily influenced here and the vocals take centre stage to Sathya's sad aroma that consumates the whole feel of the song. Viveka sets a perfect platform to give room for the lead protogonist's qualms and emotions of being left alone.

5. Lovula

Singer(s) : C.sathya

Lyricist : Viveka

Sathya makes the tune go jiggly and he does the same with the vocals as well. A slow and steady rhythym this one, makes you nod your head along with the tune. Love being the centre of attraction, the peppyness is felt through the interludes and Sathya has done a decent job with the vocals as well. The tune however is similar to his earlier hits.

6. Idhuthan

Singer(s) : Bairam

Lyricist : Pudhiyadhoar Kavignan Seivom Team

A brief bit by Balaram gives up the soul of this album with a decent finish. Would be interesting to see how the visuals of this song fans out.

Verdict : An album with ups and downs!
