After the smashing success of 'Tanu Weds Manu', its director Aanand L Rai is all set to take again the same rollercoaster ride of fun, madness and marriage.

Joining hands with Eros International, Rai will be producing and directing the sequel of the Madhavan-Kangana Ranuat starrer.

Confirming the news Rai said, "I am thrilled to join hands with Eros on this film. I am confident together we will make some very entertaining cinema. I hope to recreate the same magic with season 2 and reach out to global audiences with Eros’ fabulous network".

Similarly Sunil Lulla, Managing Director, Eros International Media Ltd echoed the development saying, "After the delightful Tanu Weds Manu, we are looking forward to partner with Aanand Rai for Season 2. We are confident the sequel will be equally memorable and as entertaining as its predecessor".

The sequel's cast and crew is said to be announced shortly.
