It's remake time

The last couple of years have witnessed the remakes of many Malayalam films in other important languages. Many of them also turned out to be welcome hits in newer versions.

And now almost all hit films in Malluwood are selling their remake rights at whooping prices.

The current year will see the Sphadikam and Kireedom - the two big hits of Lal remade in Tamil.

Sundar C will appear in the role of Lal in Tamil Sphadikam. In the remake of Kireedom, Ajith will don the role of Lal.

2007 will also see the remake of Manichitrathazhu in Hindi. The film which stars Akshay Kumar and Vidhya Balan will be directed by Priyadarshan.

Lal creations to produce Naren film
