'Maha Samudram' continues to be in the news. A lot of hype surrounds the movie because it's coming from 'RX 100' director Ajay Bhupathi. Sharwanand and Siddharth are officially on board as its male leads.

The news is that Priyanka Arul Mohan of Nani's 'Gang Leader' fame has reportedly been enlisted as the film's female lead. Director Ajay Bhupathi had toyed with the idea of roping in either Samantha Akkineni or Aditi Rao Hydari for the role. But that was when Sharwanand's role was supposed to be played by Naga Chaitanya or Ravi Teja.

In 'Gang Leader', Priyanka played a sober role as a damsel in distress who falls for the funny detective played by Nani. It has to be seen what kind of role she will essay in her second Telugu film.

To be produced by Anil Sunkara's AK Entertainments, 'Maha Samudram' will be shot in Goa and Vizag. The intense romantic-action entertainer will go on the floors in December. It will hit the screens in 2021 in a big way in both Telugu and Tamil.
