Its Official Shah Rukh Khan Is The Real 'King Of Bollywood!

After Shah Rukh Khan's latest release HAPPY NEW YEAR breaking all box office records, the India's most valued celebrity brands list released by US consultancy firm American Appraisal, too has labeled Shah Ruk Khan as the biggest celebrity in India. Thus it's official that Shah Rukh Khan is the real superstar.
The list places Shah Rukh Khan at the top with US $164.9 million, while the two other Khans are left far behind. In fact they do not even figure in the top three lists. Aamir Khan is at fifth position with US $ 54.9 million and Salman Khan is at sixth position with US $ 51.8 million. What's more the star millennium, Amitabh Bachchan is placed 13th in the list with net worth US $ 28.4 million.
Interestingly while both Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are at par with Shah Rukh Khan in the box office race of Rs 100 crore clubs, but when it comes to the Brand war both Aamir Khan and Salman Khan fail to reach the US $ 100 million mark!
According to the American Appraisal list the Bollywood star who has come close to the King Khan is Ranbir Kapoor, who has emerged winner with more than $100-million valuation in the first ever celebrity brand valuation study in India by American Appraisal. Ranbir Kapoor is worth US $ 129.4 million
Interestingly, cricketers MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are placed at third and fourth position with worth more than the other two Bollywood favourites - Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
In the female category Deepika Padukone with $44.4 million is most preferred brand endorser in country. The number two actress is Katrina Kaif with $33.5 million and Kareena Kapoor with $33.2 million at third position.
It may be noted the list is based on the celebrities reputation, credibility and ability to generate income from endorsements, as well as the adjusted average annual endorsement revenue they earned after deducting relevant costs including taxes.
