Come February 22, two contrasting movies are hitting the screens to entertain the audience. If one is 'NTR: Mahanayakudu', the other one is 'Mithai'. If the former is a political drama in the mould of a biopic, the latter is a dark comedy in the mould of a bromance.
Balakrishna's portrayal of NT Rama Rao as the thespian-turned-politician who created immense troubles for the Congress in the State of Andhra Pradesh is highly anticipated among sections of audiences.
'Mithai', starring Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi, with its emphasis on an irreverent, unconventional style of comedy is billed to have its own set of loyal audiences. Its peculiar yet meaningful situations are expected to make the film a whiff of fresh air.
If 'NTR: Mahanayakudu' is from an established director (Krish Jagarlamudi), 'Mithai' has been made by a newcomer (debutant Prashant Kumar). The refreshing vibes of the latter are evident from the pre-release videos.
It will be interesting to see how these two films are lapped up by the audience.
