Its not a spoof, says Mammootty

Mammootty was heard opining that 'Chirakodinja Kinavukal' cannot be termed a spoof. He was talking to director Kamal during the pooja of their upcoming movie 'Uttopiyayile Raajavu'. 'Chirakodinja Kinavukal' has become a landmark cinema in Mollywood, considering its genre - which the makers and audiences term as spoof. Many overrated cliches are dismantled and satirized in the movie with panache. Mammootty movies too are not spared.
When Mammootty made this comment, Kamal was heard agreeing with him, adding that Mohanlal's part was however apt. Interesting to note that the duo not only watched the movie, but arrived at such a conclusion. Well, at this point, a very small confession - this conversation between Mammootty and Kamal was strictly off record and from our part a "shameless" eavesdropping.
