Actor Jiiva whose last film Yaan` did not live up to the hype is working hard to make amends. He is currently busy shooting for Thirunaal` with Nayanthara in Kumbakonam. After this he will be taking up Kavalai Vendam` directed by Deekay of Yaamirukka Bayame` fame.

Apart from these two promising ventures the actor has signed another film to be directed by a young talent who has already proved his worth.

Ramesh Rayappa, who debuted with the thriller flick Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum` has confirmed that he will be calling shots Jiiva in his second film. The director also assured that this film which is yet to be titled will have loads of comedy as Jiiva could not control laughing while listening to the script.

While the shoot of this film is likely to begin in September, the other actors and technicians to be involved in the film are yet to be finalised.
