Bheemineni Srinivas owes his ability to make a film that is suited to today's trend to two directors: Rajamouli, and Rajkumar Hirani.

The director of Speedunnodu said, "It takes much time to select a good story. That's why, it took 3 years for me. This film makes me say that I can make a film that is contemporary in terms of the prevalent trend and technology. It is because of two directors, who have inspired me: Rajamouli, Raju Hirani. Rajamouli has proved that if made with fullest effort, one can take a Telugu film to the range of a Hollywood film. In the same way, when I make a film, I start off with the objective that my children should feel proud about it."

The maker of blockbusters like Shubamastu, Shubhakankshalu, Suswagatham, and Suryavamsham made Sudigadu in 2012.
