For the first time, Ajith and Anushka will be seen sharing the screen space, in a film to be directed by 'Siruthai' fame Siva. The untitled movie is to be produced by the reputed Vijaya Productions.

"Anushka is impressed with the script and she expressed her willingness to be part of the project. But she is yet to give her dates. Siva is hopeful that she will sure sign on the dotted line," say sources.

At present, Anushka is working with Vikram in 'Thaandavam', Karthi Sivakumar in 'Alex Pandian' and Arya in 'Irandam Ulagam'. "Signing this Ajith starrer will make the actress busier in Kollywood.

Director Siva, who made 'Siruthai' earlier, is fresh from the success of 'Daruvu', his Telugu film which hit the screens last week. Starring Ravi Teja and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles, it's a socio-fantasy entertainer.
