The poor performance of ‘Paadagasalai’ in the box-office has not dampened the spirits of producer Anil. For he is getting ready to start a new movie, which has been titled ‘Aarvam’.

Circles close to Anil say he is optimistic about his second venture, which he feels will be a cutting-edge film in terms of both technical and narrative panoramas. “It is a thriller based on a real life incident,” they say.

Sathya and Sanjay, who played the lead roles in ‘Paadagasalai’, will be once again joining hands with the producer for ‘Aarvam’, while fresher Meenu Karthika will be the heroine. Music is by Debutant Ronnie Robin.

‘Ganja’ Karuppu and Ponnambalam have been signed up for prominent roles in this film set in the backdrop of Madurai, whose shooting is scheduled in the exotic locales of Thenkasi, Kutralam besides the temple town Madurai.
