Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi's horror thriller Kumari helmed by Nirmal Sahadev of Ranam fame got launched in Kochi last year by December. While the movie's motion poster had generated hype on social media, the latest is that its shoot wrapped up on Sunday. Calling it a wrap, the movie's director Nirmal Sahadev penned a note on social media that read,"PACK UP! KUMARI wrapped up last night. Thanks to everyone who made this a smooth and memorable shoot. Special thanks to Aishwarya Lekshmi and Giju John for picking me up and making sure we keep cruising. Thank you to my ADs for being by my side through the whole journey. Thank you Shine Tom Chacko Swasika Surabhi Lakshmi Tanvi Ram Shivajith and Shruthy Menon for giving me such amazing characters. Thank you @abrahamjoseph001 for making the film look like a dream. And thank you @therealprithvi and Supriya Menon for believing in me from the beginning. Now onto edit with Sreejith Sarang and Jakes Bejoy and Sachin Sudhakaran."

Touted to be a mythological horror film based on Kerala’s folklore, written by director Nirmal and Sachin Ramdas. ‘Kumari’ also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Spadikan George, Surabhi Lekshmi, Rahul Nambiar, Giju John, Tanvi Ram, Swasika, Shruthi Menon, and Shivajith. On the technical front, Nirmal has retained almost the same crew from his debut movie ‘Ranam’. Music is by Jakes Bejoy and editing is by Sreejith Sarang. Produced by Fresh Lime Sodas and Big J Entertainments, the upcoming movie will be presented by actor Prithviraj’s Prithviraj Productions. While ‘Kumari’ is Aishwarya Lekshmi’s second film as a solo lead, her first solo lead film ‘Archana 31’ is gearing up for release.
