Actor Santhanam has been giving one hit after the other, as this year both his releases, the horror comedy Dhillukku Dhuddu 2 directed by Rambhala and the crime comedy A1 directed by debutant Johnson both turned out to be commercially successful ventures.
Now the actor is getting ready for the release of his movies like Dagaalty, Server Sundaram, Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum and is shooting for his first triple action movie Dikkiloona by Karthik Yogi and an untitled movie directed by Kannan, where he will be seen as an action hero.
The latest speculation making rounds is that Santhanam has been approached to play the lead role in the Tamil remake of this year's Telugu superhit Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya, which is an investigation backdrop comedy thriller, and it has been said that Manoj Beedha who directed Vanjagar Ulagam will direct this movie and an official announcement is expected soon.
