Actress Ammu Abhirami has acted in several superhit movies like Karthi starrer, H Vinoth's Theeran Adhigaram ondru, Thuppakki Munai and Vishnu Vishal, Amala Paul starrer Ratsasan released last year.
Recently the actress was seen in an important role in Vetrimaran's Asuran where she acted with Dhanush and now the actress has signed a movie named Battery, where she'll be playing the female lead role.
The movie is directed by debutant Mani Bharathi who has earlier assisted directors like Maniratnam, Vasanth and Saran. Ammu Abhirami will be seen next on screen in Karthi, Jyothika starrer Thambi directed by Jeethu Joseph.
