Director Mysskin who had last directed Psycho starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Rajkumar Pichumani, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nithya Menen was next supposed to direct Thupparivaalan 2 with Vishal, but after conflicts, the movie is set to be directed by Vishal himself.

After initial talks for a project to be made with Simbu, now Mysskin has reportedly joined hands with action hero Arun Vijay and this movie will be bankrolled by All in pictures which is producing Arun Vijay's 31st movie which is directed by Arivazhagan.

It has now been revealed that this movie of Arun Vijay to be directed by Mysskin will be the sequel to his 2008 superhit Anjathey. Anjathey was a crime drama which had Narain, Prasanna, Ajmal playing main roles, and reportedly, Mysskin is on the lookout to sign a fresh antagonist for Anjathey 2, as Prasanna and Arun Vijay have already acted in Mafia.
